About Gemini

Gemini Design Technology is a startup company developing innovative
EDA software. Our technology and product will bring circuit simulation
to the next level.

Our mission is to provide IC designers with better EDA software
through innovation.

Gemini was founded in 2005 by industry experts. Gemini's Technical
Advisory Board includes industry experts and university professors in
such areas as Circuit Simulation, Device Modeling, Behavioral
Modeling, Optimization, and Analog Verification.

Board of Directors

James E Solomon
, Executive Chairman

Founder Cadence Design Systems, Founder/CEO Xulu,
Founder/Chairman Smart Machines

Jim is recognized worldwide as a pioneer in the semiconductor and
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) industries. Solomon is a Fellow of
the IEEE, holds 23 patents in IC design, and is the author of over 50
technical papers. His best known work on design theory for the
monolithic op amp is still taught in universities. In 1997 he was the
recipient of the EDAC Phil Kaufman Award for his contributions to
design automation.

Baolin Yang, Founder and President

Dr. Baolin Yang received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Brown
University in 1998. He also received his M.S. in Computer Science from
Brown University at the same time. He received his M.S. in
Computational Mathematics from the Graduate School of Chinese
Academy of Sciences.  Baolin received his B.S. in Computational
Mathematics from Nanjing University.

Baolin joined Cadence in 1998. Later he joined Celestry. He re-joined
Cadence when Celestry was acquired by Cadence. He was an
Architect when he left Cadence in June, 2006. Baolin founded Gemini
in November, 2006.

Baolin received the Chairman's Club award at Cadence. He received
the best paper award at Design Automation Conference in 2000.
These awards were for his work on circuit simulation. Baolin also
received the President's Prize for excellent graduates at Chinese
Academy of Sciences. The award was for his excellent graduate work
and his M.S. research on parallel numerical computation of
aerodynamics.
